Paszek won’t be given a suspension while the issue of whether her behavior violated anti-doping rules is investigated. Similarly, Gasquet will be allowed to play during the ITF’s appeal of the ruling in his cocaine case. If the ruling is overturned, Richard will be out for up to two years. They really need to let this one rest, IMHO. Nobody EVER asks me.

Or at least, this is how her lawyers would undoubtedly have it. According to tennis.com, Tamira Paszek is under suspicion of violating anti-doping rules while receiving medical treatment for a back problem. She was recently talking about the treatment process during a press conference when a journalist questioned the legality of it. Paszek didn’t know, so she has contacted the Austrian anti-doping agency, who told her unless she obtained a Therapeutic Use Exemption, her treatment would qualify as illegal. You would think that a professional tennis player – or at least people on her team – would think to check this out before proceeding. In any event, this calls for illustrations.
Personally, I find the similarities frightening.
